The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was a spectacle under the flood lights. Here's what you need to know:

• Pierre Gasly was forced to retire the car on the opening lap due to a gearbox failure, continuing the frustrating start to the season for Alpine
• Lance Stroll clipped the wall on lap 7, causing his car to barrel off the track and into the barrier. The accident prompted a full Safety Car under which many teams scrambled to change tires
• Kevin Magnussen drove too far across the track and damaged Alex Albon's front wing. Causing the collision earned Kmag a 10 second time penalty. He received another 10 second penalty for going off the track while overtaking Yuki Tsunoda
• Rookie Ollie Bearman had an incredible driving, finishing P7 to earn 6 championship points and the driver of the day vote!
• Max Verstappen dominated the session and finished P1, followed by his teammate Sergio Perez. It was P3 finisher Charles Leclerc who earned the fastest lap
