The Haas drivers seemed to struggle on this circuit again with Kevin Magnussen finishing in 20th and Nico Hülkenberg finishing in 17th. Carlos Sainz did not have the most successful free practice session, only being able to put his Ferrari in 20th while his teammate, Charles Leclerc, finished the session in 5th. George Russell had another strong practice session finishing in first, while his teammate, Lewis Hamilton, put his Mercedes in 12th on the grid. Both of the Williams drivers seemed to have better practice session than in FP1 & FP2 with Alex Albon finishin in 4th and Logan Sargeant finishing the session in 8th. The Red Bull drivers still seem to be not at their strongest with Max Verstappen only finishing the session in 6th and Sergio Perez putting his car in 11th.
